Minor Injury Unit (Tel No. 01275 546852)

The Minor Injury Unit is a nurse led service located in Clevedon Community Hospital. Specialist practitioners are able to treat patients presenting with minor injuries that include:

  • Wounds and grazes
  • Cuts needing stitches
  • Trips and falls
  • Broken bones
  • Minor injuries resulting from minor road traffic accidents
  • Minor injuries arising from domestic violence
  • Minor burns
  • Sports injuries
  • Sprains, bruises and abrasions
  • Head injuries (No loss of consciousness)
  • Simple eye trauma e.g. foreign bodies
  • Removal of foreign bodies
  • Advice
  • Minor injuries in children over 3 years of age

Opening hours

  • 08.00 - 21.00, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
  •  X - Ray Department:  Monday to Friday 09:00-13:00 & 14:00-16:30 (GP referral only)
